A few steps taken to create plaster model combined to a #PhotoGrid. (Top pic) the blue 'block' was created using the cutting planes as boundaries. (Bottom left) after a few trials, I've realised that using thin card to cast the moulds was pointless as the card would bow when plaster was poured. Instead thick glossy card was used which allowed clean shard lines in the final cast (bottom right)
This is my first time working with plaster. Although a messy and somewhat sticky process. It enhances skills gained throughout the year so far in terms of model making. Look forward to working and exploring with new materials.
