final 3 ink blot, contour map and hatching. Ross Kingston

This is the inkblot i have chosen to be my final out of three that were chosen. I have chosen this particular inkblot as there was a lot to work from and i found it to be more of a challenge to work with because of its abstract shape.
This is the final of our second step which was making our own contours that surrounded our original inkblot shape. What i went for when doing this was to make as many contours as i can so that there was a lot more information to work off when we enter other phases
This is the final of the third step for our first phase . This particular step i found quite tricky as you could fall out of the shape if you didn't correctly cross hatch or hatch the sections of your contours. This final is made up of hatching, cross hatching and poche.

  1. Don't forget Mark's instruction on taking care when photographing your work.
Are these angles helping the viewer to understand your work?
Would it be more appropriate to scan these drawings in?
